Yesterday we had nothing to do so we went and returned a few things and checked out the Christmas clearance at each store! Once Upon a Child - I brought in a whole laundry basket of Kait and Brae's spring and summer clothes from last year and got $43.50 back!!! Not to bad for clothes i paid pretty much nothing for!!! Walmart - I got $18 back for a returned item. I got a bday present for my little cousin - princess & the frog shirt, winter pjs [both for $5 ea] & a little mermaid bathtub doll [$9.96], also 2 $5 jammies for my kids. Then it was on to the Christmas section...or lack there of! Got 1 Rubbermaid tote for $6.50 how exciting huh? guess i got it all out of me the other day when i went to walmart with my mom! Paid $19.xx - used money i got back from Aeropostale. Kohls - Returned something from Christmas and got $5 back. Their clearance was pretty whipped out! Here is what i picked up on Sunday! Walmart was 75% off... i went in to pick up a pair of PJs for Braeden not even thinking to look @ the Xmas clearance! My mom and i were waiting in line and all the sudden i was like CHRISTMAS CLEARANCE! i yelled it so my mom looked at me like i was nuts! haha.. There was a ton of stuff!! like 4.5 isles and half of lawn and garden! When Dave and I went to our other Walmart the day after xmas they didn't have much and what they did have was thrown all over the place. The two ornaments in the picture were from the pharmacy my mom works at, shes the manager so she hooks me up=) Target was 75% off as well...i got a couple things. yea yea yea i know its early but i need to start thinking about it... both my kids birthdays are in November 1 the 6th and the other the 23rd, so we spend alot of money between Nov & Dec. I want to start my shopping -- ive already bough the baby 2 things. I wanted peoples opinions on how you go about your birthday/xmas shopping. Do you set a $$ amount per kid? or do you say each kid is getting XX amount of presents? What do you do for your kids birthdays? I dont know why im stressing over this, but i am! haha HELP! *I think for the baby im going to focus on Bath Toys and Little People... he loves BathTime & So far he LOVES all his sisters little people!
