Well, that's just stupid. It's not like you're returning every single thing you bought.
ReplyDeleteI would also have contacted corp right then and there at the store to ask if you could return them!
I called corp when i got home, not to rat out the cashier but to ask what the truth behind returning ECB items was. Corp told me you can def. return ECB items, there is no rule that you cant! The cashier told me you absolutely can NOT return ECB items...as she handed me $15 cash back and $16 on a money card! it made no sense to me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment=)
When I returned ECB items, I got back more than I paid too. They give you back the value of your items, coupons and any ECB you use for your purchase...so you will be getting back more than your OOP. People who say things like this are probably the ones truly scamming.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment...i agree!
ReplyDeleteI too have returned an item here and there, that I purchase with ECB's, I called before hand, and they told me that absolutely you CAN return an item and get cash back. ECB's are money that you earned. You are not scamming CVS, or trying to rip them off, you are merely saving your family's hard earned money. All the power to you!
ReplyDeleteThank you=)
ReplyDeleteI emailed corp so that i would have it in writing in case i run into this prob again...they said the same thing you said! uhg it makes me mad when cashiers make up their own rules!
