For those of you who know me you know i ONLY drink water! So Poland Springs being on sale this week is awesome! I was only going to buy 1 - 24 pack, then when i got to the Poland springs shelf there was Poland springs sign saying if you buy 2 - 24 packs you get $2 off your next purchase [prints a Catalina] 3 - 24 packs get $3 off etc. etc. Then i had a buy 2 -24 packs get a 6 pack free coupon. So $3.49 + $3.49 = $6.98 - $2.00 = $4.98 for 56 bottles of water!! I was stoked!! FYI 1 -24 pack of Aquafina is $5.99, so i totally made out!! BTW that's .11 a bottle Also my total today for grocery's was $53.74 & i saved $83.69! For those who commented on my EGG post - Dave ran in to big-y and got two cartons of eggs and got a $5/40 coupon on the bottom of the receipt so i used that for my s&s trip =)

does anyone have any suggestions on buying eggs?... I never seem to see any deals on them and lately we're going through them like water!

I had to change my trip around tonight when i got to the store. My store that always has everything was out the double pack of windex and the double pack of scrubbing bubbles! I wasn't expecting this but i made it work! Here's what i got: 2 Bags of M&M's - 2/$5 - used $1 Mnfq  + get 2 ECB 5 Packs of Duracell battery's - $2.99 - used four $2/1 Mnfq 1 Double Pack of Softsoap - $3.99  + get 2 ECB *I used a $5/$20 CVS Coupon + 4 ECBs + the above coupons Total Oop = $3.10 Saved - $30.98! **Got 4 ECB back!

Tons of stuff at Target is 75% off!! I cant believe im saying this but im already starting to stock up for my kids bdays and xmas [if you want to save money, thats the way to do it!!]. Total before savings = $68.94  Total Out of Pocket = $28.xx [this also includes a 12 pack of pepsi $4 & used a $1 coupon from target.com & 2 boxes of kelloggs bars and kelloggs crisps... used two $1/1 kellogg target coupon from Target.com along with a $1/2 Kellogg manf. coupon ]

Well if you no me you know that my rule of thumb is that I NEVER buy my kids clothes for that season during that season! I always...ALWAYS shop a season/size ahead! This week @ S&S Chobani Yogurt is 10/$10. I started eating this when i was pregnant -- i had GD and the dietitian i had to see suggested it! I was hesitant to try it once she said it was GREEK yogurt...i dunno that just sounded weird to me, but i bought 1 cup on the way home and i was hooked! They are usually 4/$5. Well all week i kept rolling over my 6 ECBs for the $6.00 Soyjoy bars [you get 6ecbs for buying them] i only paid $1 for 6 Boxes (36 Bars) [i had 5 ecbs when i started]. So it seems that week after week we have another problem with our SUV...its a 2004 Buick Rainier. We bought it in 2006 for $19k! ouch. The payment is $356 a/m!! At the time Dave had a really really good job and it was fine. Well started to become not fine when he lost his job and the car started breaking everyday [it seemed]. In the past 3 months ALONE we have spent $2515!! $701 for Breaks and Rotors, $1400 for the front differential that almost caused us to get slammed into when the suv just stopped in the middle of a busy intersection and now we just paid $414 for a new starter!! We went to get in the car New Years day and it wouldn't start, so Dave tried to jump it and that didnt work, our friend who is a mechanic came over and diagnosed it. When he got the car to his shop he called Dave to tell him the front differential was leaking!!!! wtfff thats that part we just had fixed! Yesterday we had nothing to do so we went and returned a few things and checked out the Christmas clearance at each store! Once Upon a Child - I brought in a whole laundry basket of Kait and Brae's spring and summer clothes from last year and got $43.50 back!!! Not to bad for clothes i paid pretty much nothing for!!! Walmart - I got $18 back for a returned item. I got a bday present for my little cousin - princess & the frog shirt, winter pjs [both for $5 ea] & a little mermaid bathtub doll [$9.96], also 2 $5 jammies for my kids. Here is what i picked up on Sunday! Walmart was 75% off... i went in to pick up a pair of PJs for Braeden not even thinking to look @ the Xmas clearance! My mom and i were waiting in line and all the sudden i was like CHRISTMAS CLEARANCE! i yelled it so my mom looked at me like i was nuts! haha.. There was a ton of stuff!! like 4.5 isles and half of lawn and garden! When Dave and I went to our other Walmart the day after xmas they didn't have much and what they did have was thrown all over the place. First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!! [i wrote this as a facebook note last night so if it sounds like im talking to you all like you have no clue, that is why!!...i didnt feel like re typing it for you bloggers=) ] Last years GOAL was a big success! My/our goal last year was to save as much $$ as possible by starting a stockpile and using as many coupons as possible to get the most for our money -- that goes for any store -- grocery, drug stores etc. I set a $100.00 bi weekly grocery budget and stuck to it week after week! Typically spending under budget! I didn't set any weekly drug store budgets as i would use my best judgment as to what was a good price... i usually only shop @ CVS, RITE AID, WALGREENS when something is free or free after rebates/extra bucks/resister rewards etc. Right now we have a very good stockpile of shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, laundry detergent, toilet paper etc etc. [if you've been to our house I'm sure you've seen it].
