I went to a party for my cousin last night and got home a bit late...well early depending how you want to look at it ;-) I don't get out much anymore so it took a toll on me, esp since the little guy was wide awake when i got home and didnt feel like sleeping!! I think we finally both fell asleep around 5am or so, then i thought id be able to sleep in...mmmm NOPE! So Ive been running on NO sleep all day! So when it came time to clipping this AM i wasn't interested! I got one insert cut and the rest are sitting in my binder waiting -- ahhh! However i did make time for CVS! 2 - Huggies 2/$17.98 -  used two $3/1  1 - CVS shampoo .99 - used $1/1 [any CVS hair care product] CRT 1 - Bottle Water *Used $11 ECBs as well. TOTAL OOP [paid with a GC]: $1.59 and got $5 ECBs for buying the diapers! SAVED: $24.99

Booo!!! I went grocery shopping tonight and for once i didnt have any competitor coupons [usually have least a $5/45 Big Y coupon and other times i have their doubles]. While at the register my husband pointed at a sign by the debit machine. It said "as of march 12th we will no longer be acecpting competitor coupons due to our everyday low prices". We had nothing to do last night, and i needed to get some diapers cause i could get a good deal @ Target! I put all the coupons i was going to use in my day planner. We get there and we found a close spot [theres NEVER any close spots @ this Target/Mall], but there was a carriage in the way, so being the good wife i [think] i am, i decided to get out and move it for the hubby! Well i figured id take my pocketbook with me. Well i only grabbed one strap and then found out my bag was unzipped!! EVERYTHING went flying -- of course it was windy out!! It was a big coupon wind storm!! First i picked up all the important stuff -- my wallet, phone etc. then grabbed my $5 GC and Huggies coupon then chased what i could across the parking lot!...and id like to thank the ppl who just stepped over them and kept walking! haha! Luckily i went back to double check that i had all my coupons cause my iTouch was def. laying right behind someones tire!!! When all was said and done i was only missing 1 cou

Target has Huggies Jumbo Diapers on sale for $8.99. I had a $2 Coupon from the home mailer + $1.50 Target coupon from target.com + a $5 GC [from last weeks cookie deal]... paid .50 Oop!!!! Thats a little under .02 a diaper!!

So before I left to go to CVS I figured out my total would be $5.xx. Im usually right on give or take a few cents. So my trip went like this: 1 - Oral B Tooth Brush $4.00 + get $4ECBs - used $1/1 from 02-07 PG 1 - Gillette Deodorant  $3.99 + get $1ECB -  used $3/1  1 - Gillette Body Wash $7.99 - used FREE when you buy Gillette Deodorant coupon from 02-07 PG 1 - Venus Breeze $8.99 + $4ECBs - used $4/1  1 - Olay Body Wash $7.99 - used FREE when you buy Venus Breeze Razor coupon from 02-07 PG 4 - Cadbury Eggs - 2/$1 [filler] (ill put these away for the kids Easter baskets) 1 - Carmel candy - .33 [filler] Used $6.50 in ECBs My total came to -$2.01...yes negative! So i got the fillers above...My total was then .33! When i got home i looked at my recipet. I noticed i had a ECB for $8 for the Oral B. I couldn't figure it out at first then i realized she rang up 2 Brushes, but i only bought one!! Im going to go back tomorrow and see if they will just let me get the tooth brus

[Not sure how good the cheesecake middles are, but they wont go to waste w/2 kids and a garbage disposal for a husband!]

I just got done reading The Coupon Mom Book and in the back is some recipes. I found this one for homemade Tortillas!! All you do is take any kind of Tortilla Wraps - i used wheat cause that's what we had. Rub Vegetable oil all over the wrap Sprinkle Salt (and whatever else you might like) - a little or a lot, whatever you like. It says to cut into 4's but i cut them into 8's. Put them in the oven @ 350 for 15 minutes [or golden brown] I realllllly liked them, actually more than Tostitos! My 5 y/o is still chowing down on them!

Haven't done a Target trip in a while! Heres what I got today: 2 two packs GE light bulbs $2.99 ea - used 2 $1.50/1 Target coupons and a $1.00/2 IP = $1.98 2 Gillette Body Washes $1.79 ea - used $4/2 coupon (from 2/21 P&G) 6 Old Spice 1.7oz Body Wash [there were in the clearance section @ my store there were a ton in a basket] .82ea - used 3 $3/2 coupons (from 02-21 P&G) 8x10 Frame $5.99 [some of the overage from the other items went towards it] Total - $5.27  Saved $30.86!! * This Cashier was great, she pushed all my coupons through w/o a hassle -- this is a first for me!
