Sorry this is late...been getting my daughter ready for becoming a big kindergartner [Thursday!] So anyway here is my trip: Trip #1: 1 - Pocket Folder - .50 1 - Venus Razor - $8.99 - used a $3/1 Q + get $5 ECBs 1 - 2 Pack of Glade Relaxing Moments - $4.99 + get $1 ECB *Used 7.50 ECBs Total Oop - $3.17 + $6 back Total Saved - $12.79 **Got a Rain Check for the Kotex U -- The store down teh street from me NEVER has the on sale stuff till that following Tuesday! Makes no sense! If you have a published ad least have the stuff in stock [i understand if ppl have bought it all, but they have told me they just never got it in -- oh well] Trip #2 (another store) : [ This one was weird ] Kotex U + Bonus pack - $8.99 + get $3 ECbs Well when she rang it up it ran up $4.xx and printed no ECBs! I got a way better de al w/o the ECBs printing!! Not sure why that happened, but it did! Did it happen to anyone else?

This blog is dedicated to my wonderful husband who talked me into buying a POS suv back in 2006!! Today marks 1 more year till our loan is up on our suv!!! $3,899.98 @ $356.xx a month! uhggg. Like i said BEFORE i was frugal!!!! I cant wait to get rid of this vehicle and get something more economical and affordable!!! Seems like every other month something breaks on this thing...and its never a gasket or something minor, it has to be the alternator, starter, compressor, $800 tires, you name it!!! Ohh hurry up August 2011!!!!

Geez this kid is going to be ready for our trip to Disney before any of us are!!! Her last deposit she had $79.xx. My aunt and uncle were up from VA this week so my parents had a bunch of beer bottles left at their house, my mom let Kait turn them in for the $. She got $4 for that. Shes also been on the coin hunt! Dave found .26 for her while we were out yesterday. Well the moral of this post is that she has $32.xx to deposit today!!! Total for Disney about $112 !!! Not bad for only starting a week and a half ago!

$10 in Similac Checks!!

Heres how it went: 1 pack of Pampers $8.88 - used $3 Q 3 Band Aids for the kids $1.99 ea - used $3/3 Q from 8/16 2 Oral B Tooth Brushes $2.19 ea BOG% - used BOGO coupon and two $1/1 Q's 1 Glide Floss $3.49 - used $1/1 Q + get $2.50 ECBs 1 Huggies Wipes $3.49 - used $3/1 IP [my moms purchase] 3 Snickers Bars [my mom put her stuff in with mine and gave me the $$] B2Go - used .50/1 CRT [printed tonight] 2 Caliber Note Pads 2/$1 - used $1/2 CRT from last week = FREE Baby Orajel $8.29 on sale 75% off $2.19 [check by the dental floss and in the baby isle, I saw it in both places!!] Total OOP= $8.15 Savings - $46.83!! Got $2.50 in ECBs YTD Savings = $1,162.09 Summer Spending = $130.49 [thats including ECBs used etc. i prob paid way less than half of that! Maybe a quarter of it?]

So if you follow my fan page you know that today Kait set up her Disney Account! The way we/she did it was... She took all her change and tooth fairy money to TD Bank North and used there change machine [so much easier than rolling coins and better than using CoinStar seeing as they take a percentage of how much you have] she ended up with $14.xx. We then went to Bank of America [i hate them] where she had a account for bday money etc. She went in with Dad and we told her what she needed to do she said "id like to withdrawal $64.00" [we're trying to start her early on understanding money and banking but not going overboard by doing so just the basics] Dave then said we'd like to close out that account, the girl says and would you like to close your Mortgage too? WHAT! lol...hell yea, if that means no more payments hahah! So anyway after BOA we went to Stop and Shop to Citizens Bank were this week they had a promotion where if you open a new account with them you get

Here's tonight's trip: 2 Betty Crocker Brownies BOGO 50% off @ $2.29ea - used two $1/1 MQ's = FREE + Overage 1 Schick Razor @ $8.97 - used a $4/1 MQ + get 4 ECBs 3 Biore Products buy $15 get 5 @ $6 ea - i had two $2 IPs. One of the boxes had a Save $2/2 Peelie which i left on the box cause i didn't have 4 products to use all the coupons - I was just going to add it to my binder. When i was looking for my debit card i realized the cashier took it off and scanned it after she had already scanned my IPs! Nice deal! I opened a pack of little swimmers and there was a pack of coupons for a bunch of Huggies items...so then i look closer and the expiration date was in 2007!!! So i emailed them and added my name and address. They never answered me [which is okay] and today in the mail box was a envelope from Kimberly-Clark that had 6 coupons inside ranging from .50-$3.00!!! The coupons are not only good on little swimmers, they are good for Huggies, Pull Ups, Kleenex, Poise etc etc! So Thanks K-C!

We stayed in CT for the night Wednesday night and realized Brae's sandals were breaking, so Dave's mom had a BOB's $10 rewards cert. and a 20% off Q. We checked at our Bobs @ home so we figured we wouldn't find what we wanted [boat/water shoes] at the store down there either. So on our way to the marina to get on the boat we stopped at bobs, just to see. Well we walked out with FREE Boat Shoes for little man!!! They were orig. $14.99!

I got 1 of my Schick Hydro rebates back today!!! The other should be at my parents house! I got the razors for free to begin with so i just made $17.84! If you haven't gotten yours yet, it should be coming!

Taco Pie Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes Updated: Monday, 26 Jul 2010, 12:52 PM EDT Published : Monday, 26 Jul 2010, 12:52 PM EDT Ashley Sattler Nate Luscombe If you like tacos - you are in for a treat! Nate is in the kitchen making delicious taco pie! Ingredients 1 package crescent rolls 1 pound ground turkey (or beef) 1 package taco seasoning 1 cup sour cream 2/3 cup light mayonnaise 2 cups mexican blend cheese 1 medium onion chopped 1 medium green pepper chopped Preheat over to 400 degrees. Line a 9x13 pan with the crescent rolls in a full sheet. Brown the meat, add taco seasoning. Add to top of the crescent roll crust. Mix the sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese, onion and green pepper in a bowl. Spread over the top of the meat. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. *Got this off Mass Appeal a new show from our news station
