Black Friday*

This was my 2nd year going out for black friday and my first year waiting for more than a hour for a item!!

We got to Toys R Us around 6pm. There were 3 other cars. We finally all got out of  our cars around 6:15 and set up camp! We were about 4th in line. We made friends right away, which was good cause we all got each other through the night! The people in front of us were there for Zhu Zhu Pets & The $99.99 Pony. We were mainly there for the Zhu Zhu Pet but got the $19.99 Polly Pocket Playset and the $2.98 Littlest Pet Shop stuffed animal. It was a fun night. The rain held off and it wasn't to to cold out. UNO's was open so we were able to use there bathroom and we got some food half way through the night. The line seemed to grow really fast! It had to have been about a mile long - no lie!! Around 11pm [hour before opening] people started gathering in the parking lot! apparently they thought when the doors opened they would all just walk in w/no problem! HA! The manager came out and told them all [about 100 people] that they had to leave or get in the line! At that point everyone in line started cheering and yelling at them hahaha you could tell non of them were happy!! There were still cars rolling up trying the same thing and waiting in the parkinglot, so alot of the employees came out and locked arms so that no one in the parking lot would try to break through! When the Manager came out to unlock the door she said she would only open the door if we all sung the Toys R Us song [i dont wanna grow up, im a toys r us kid...] haha so we did, and she then let us in! We got out Zhu Zhu Pets, ran to the isle that the LPS and Polly Pocket were in, paid and got out! It was 12:15am when we got out so it was pretty quick! My cousins wife said it took her 2 hours to get to the cash register!! Glad that wasn't me cause the store was hot...i woulda been dying!! But now Kait has her Zhu Zhu pet all set for xmas...she didnt think she'd be getting one cause Santa cant find them anywhere!! We then went out for coffee, then back to our house, watched four christmasses, took a 5 minute nap and headed off to Kohls! There were about 10 people in line when we got there at 3:15am. We waited in the car for a while cause it was raining and finally got out around 3:30am. It seemed like soon as we got out everyone came.. the time wrapped around the parkinglot!! Same thing happened as toys r us with people waiting in the parking lot to get in and the manager told them anyone  that wasnt inthe line wouldn't be let in! haha. i mean seriously how stupid and rude can you be? At Kohls we got the LPS set that was orig. $39.99... got it for $19.99 and used a 15% off coupon i had! Now all my little cousins are done and so are both my kids!! Now just have to finish dave, my parents and my sister!!
