More Xmas Clearance
Yesterday we had nothing to do so we went and returned a few things and checked out the Christmas clearance at each store!
Once Upon a Child - I brought in a whole laundry basket of Kait and Brae's spring and summer clothes from last year and got $43.50 back!!! Not to bad for clothes i paid pretty much nothing for!!!
Walmart - I got $18 back for a returned item. I got a bday present for my little cousin - princess & the frog shirt, winter pjs [both for $5 ea] & a little mermaid bathtub doll [$9.96], also 2 $5 jammies for my kids. Then it was on to the Christmas section...or lack there of! Got 1 Rubbermaid tote for $6.50 how exciting huh? guess i got it all out of me the other day when i went to walmart with my mom! Paid $19.xx - used money i got back from Aeropostale.
Kohls - Returned something from Christmas and got $5 back. Their clearance was pretty whipped out! I was able to get a few ornaments and a Yankee candle tart holder. 2 Hallmark Ornaments - $3 & $3.50, Sock Monkey Stuffed Ornament $1.00, "R" Ornament [for our last name] $1.00, and a Yankee Candle Tart Holder - this was with the christmas clearnace, it was the only one around, i even looked in the reg. yankee section, it was scanning full price tho [$16.99] so gave it a shot and asked at the register. Cashier said she didnt think it was on clearance cause it was Yankee... called a manager and she said to give it to me for 50%...well thats better than nothing but umm its with the xmas and the only one they have so why 50%?...how about 80% like everything else?! ohh well, i got it anyway, cant go wrong with YC!
Paid $12.xx for everything...majority was the candle thing. Saved $43.
Target - Nothing too exciting at target. Found to Ornaments. bother were $1.00 - Saved $14.48
