My daughter [of course] Spotted a pair of Reefs Flip Flops -- I love Reefs for their comfy fit and great arch support! They were $20 so after my $10 coupon I only paid $10! A few weeks ago my Husband and I were approached with a business franchise opportunity from a member of our family. From the little information we had, it sounded like a great idea -- It was to help people save money on their electric bills. Well my Husband finally called the number of the man he was told to call, and spoke with him for about a half hour. I had gone over a few questions with my Husband on what questions he should ask. Every time he asked a question the man would just say "come to the meeting at my house" "you can ask the guy that will be speaking at my house tonight" etc etc. None of the real important questions were answered: 1) Whats the name of this company? 2) Any catches? 3) Anything we have to pay? So while xmas shopping back in December @ Kohls I happened to see this Ottoman... My daughter and I both at the same time said "ohh that would look good in the living room!". So I looked at the price and it was $399.99!! So I decided I didn't need it THAT bad! So today we ran into Kohls to kill time before a appointment and saw the same Ottoman cept the leg was scratched and it had a clearance sticker on it... I was going to get that one cause i figured the kids will beat it up eventually anyway and i can fix the wooden leg up to make it look perfect. So we asked if we could have it brought up front and the manager says "Oh let me get you on in a box!" I was like yeah but i dont want to pay $400 for it! He said no they are all on sale!! SWEEET! So the Ottoman ended up being $119.99!!! I was sooo excited!!!   While I was waiting for the manager i looked over at the clearance for my daughter... I found her a $100 winter jacket for next year for $30! Have i EVE...

Another Idea from Pinterest!  Ive seen it done many different ways. I mainly just used the same questions!

We need to get some more stuff to paint but this is what we did so far! Next I'm going to paint the bottoms of my older wine glasses for when people come over -- they can write their names on the bottom with Chalk :) Old platter i don't use... can write what the drink of the day/night is and put the glasses on it -- a serving tray! Painted! They didn't have Black so we went with a Greyish -- its pretty dark now! Painting her glass container for her Crayons

The kids loved doing this!! Sharpies! Any color will do... but only use dark colors if you want dark tie dye  [the first marker is maroon not red] Rubbing Alcohol -- the lower the percentage the better it will turn out! Also you'll need some sort of dropper.   Next you'll need a cup and a rubber band or hair tie. Put the band around the shirt and the cup.  Next make some designs -- doesn't have to be anything special as you can see from my 3 y/o!   Next drop alcohol onto the colors... should start to look like this!     Close up of my sons shirt  Finished Product!!   My daughters finished shirt!

The kids needed something to do tonight so we picked some stuff out on Pinterest to do! This was our first thing!  Spread PB on the rolls then add Choc Chips -- roll from the long part. All rolled up!   Ready to go in the oven! Heat at 375 for as long as the crescent roll package says  All Done!! Delish!!

So I was kinda nervous about how my first couponing trip to OSJL would turn out... but everything went well -- for ME. As for the poor cashier, YIKES! I'm pretty sure they need to get a new system that scans barcodes considering they are now taking Manf. Qs, but this poor girl had to manually enter each of my coupons and match them to the items i bought on the computer screen! I think i apologized 100 times haha. -12 Boxes of Chocolate Mint Granola Bars - $2.00ea used six $1/2 coupons from. -3 fruit roll ups & 3 fruit snacks [Betty Crocker] - $1.75ea used two $1/3 coupons. -3 Cains Dressing [big bottles] - $2.50ea used three $1/1 Q's -3 Pop Tarts [8ct] - $1.99ea & 1 box of Pop Tart Crisps [i think thats what they are called]. There is a printable coupon on Kelloggs website.. for some reason i only printed 1 uhg. could have done 2!! -3 BIG Mini Wheats [big box] - $3.50 used $1/3  - 3 Huge cans of Chef Boyardee - $3ea -4 Hunts Tomatoes - $1.19 each used a $1/4 ...

Today I got a FREE coupon from Ocean Spray!!  I never heard back from them but they sent the coupon -- im not complaining :)

I haven't done any couponing trips lately other then the grocery stores. So tonight i felt like trying a trip there. I should have just stayed home! My Husband and I thought we could leave the kids with my mom for a quick trip up the road to the oh so wonderful Springfield, MA [Boston Rd.] store -- WRONG! We got there [its also Friday night] and omg... that place was so scary!! Not only was it scary but the shelves were bare! We also have people crawling over us to get things -- no excuse me, no nothing! So i was sooo done with that store. So we decided we'd drive to another Walmart about 15 mins away -- we were able to get cheap gas across the street anyway so it wasn't a waste i suppose! So the crowd there wasn't to bad, people didn't seem as obnoxious! But alot of their stock was limited too -- and empty boxes left all over the shelves.  This is what i ended up getting [my coupon stack was much bigger when i walked in, then the stack i handed the cashier!!!]: 4 A...
