I was just sitting here wondering when i started my blog... It was a year ago yesterday!! woohoo! Yesterday we got our KFC rainchecks in the mail!! yahhh!! they are good from 7-20/8-2! Cant wait for our 2 FREE meals=)

So I forgot I needed to buy a Birthday Present for one of my little cousins birthday partys this weekend, So i figured id go to target for his present. I also wanted to see if they had anymore of the Littlest Pet Shop Tail Waggin Pet Club. We were going to buy it last year for Kait for xmas but it was $50 then and i was almost done w/her shopping and wasnt spending another $50. Well now its on sale for $24.48! We looked in the LPS isle and there was a empty spot to i figured they were all gone. So i went down the clerance isle just to look and there were they were!!! There was 1 left after we took ours [this will be a bday or xmas present for K]. I also did the Gillette Deal while we were there. Fusion Razor for $7.99 -$4 mnf Q Gillette Body was $3.49 -$1 mnf Q Got a $5 Gift Card Used the GC towards the LPS toy so that made the toy $20! Saved $30 on that!

We finally plugged in all the electronic cords in our entertainment center into a power strip! So now when we want to watch TV/MOVIES/PLAY THE WII we can just turn the switch on the power strip on! Hopefully this will save us some $$$ too!! Also tonight i spent $25 @ Stop and Shop and Saved $60!!!

We got our electric bill on Saturday. It went down!! This month is $69.99! Last month it was $75. So it went down once again!! I hope we can get it down further next month. We're un plugging our Freezer in the basement to see what kind of savings we get next month!

Not sure how many of you know what Once Upon A Child is but they had there spring/summer clearance sale today! Each couple of hours was a certain percentage off then from 7-9pm all blue ticket items were $1.00! We waited till 7pm to go of course=) The place was mobbed!! The isles were packed! People were back to back! And lots of moms brought their strollers down the tiny isles so it was pretty hard to maneuver! We were able to find quite a few things of Brae. Best find was a Brand New pair of Dickies overalls [pin stripped conductor print]. The rest of the stuff we bought was mostly GAP and Gymbo. Kait got one shirt -- her section was impossible to get down, but she was happy with it! We paid OOP: $25 Total before Savings: $97 Total Savings: $71!!!

I dont usually go to Rite Aid, but i will if theres a good deal. Dave needed Shaving cream [one thing i cant seem to stock up on], so i figured i might as well make the trip worth it!! yea yea yea i know its early but i need to start thinking about it... both my kids birthdays are in November 1 the 6th and the other the 23rd, so we spend alot of money between Nov & Dec. I want to start my shopping -- ive already bough the baby 2 things. I wanted peoples opinions on how you go about your birthday/xmas shopping. Do you set a $$ amount per kid? or do you say each kid is getting XX amount of presents? What do you do for your kids birthdays? I dont know why im stressing over this, but i am! haha HELP! *I think for the baby im going to focus on Bath Toys and Little People... he loves BathTime & So far he LOVES all his sisters little people! By Xmas he will be a year old and most of the little people sets say 1+ so that works! *

Today is our grocery day... ay ay ay! We dropped K off @ her last day of her first year of pre school then went to the gym [that killed me]. We then went to Big-Y and got some of the BOGO & BOG2 deals going on this week and used my 3 double Q's that they had in their flier this week. I cant even think of my deals rite now -- my brain is fried! We then went to DD to get our FREE Donuts w/our coffees! mmm! Then to S&S. Got 4 boxes of Huggies Wipes 2/$5 and used two $2 Q's. Also go 10 beech nut baby foods 10/$5 used $1.00 Q. I had a FREE sense and spray Q & a FREE Oscar Mayer Q from a mailer... i did self check out so the supervisor had to come do those Q's for me. She asked me how much they were, i told her 8.xx and i wasnt sure about the hotdogs, she said Okay and put in $10.50 and $4.50! woohoo scoreee! Next we went to Once Upon a Child to bring some of Brae's clothes and our bassenette... we got $55!!! Target was next and finaly on the list... We Got: 2 Deg...

Today all i spent was $3.xx!! Rite Aid - I got 2 packs of titan replacement blades BOGO and used 2 $4.00 Manf. Q's = $3.xx! [they are orig. $11.xx] Wags - used 2 Cutter Q's from this weekends paper. Walgreens has the 1oz replants on sale for 2/$4 = FREE! [this was the first time i didn't have a problem getting something totally free from wags!!] Oh and these are a perfect size to keep in your purse, car, diaper bag etc! CVS - GO HERE and print out the $1/2 Campbells soup coupon! I think the limit is 2? CVS has Chic. Noodle and Tom Soup on sale this week 2/$1! I got 8 Cans [my mom gave me her 2 Q's]

Right now Old Navy is having a sale on Clearance!! Clearance is a additional 50% off lowest marked prices!!! You can also use any coupons you have from Old Navy Weekly to make your savings that much sweeter!! Tonight i got $268 worth of clothes for the kids. I saved $222.00 and spent oop $45.94!!! I needed a dress or something dressy for my cousins wedding this Sunday. So i thought i'd try Kohls seeing as i havent been having much luck anywhere else. Well i found a cute dress that was orig. $60 down to $35, pair of shorts on sale from $40.00 down to $21 [i know thats still pretty expensive but when it comes to clothes for me, if they fit good i have to get them, i have a real hard time finding things i like...grrr!]. Then i found 2 shirts for kait that she really liked as well, a Fila Shirt for $4.80 and a Nike Shirt for $3.60! I also found a nice white sweater for me for next fall/winter Orig. $60.00!!! Got it for $6.50!!! Not bad! Spent $71. coulda been worse i guess. But i got everything i needed and the kids were super good, and we all had fun doing it!!! So if you have a Kohls around you, you should go check your store out!! There were 60% off racks to 80% off racks!!

Since we heard about it we've been contemplating getting it main thing holding me back was the fact that its $59.99 [cheaper than Wii Fit, but still]. Well today was the deal breaking... we got an advertisement from Game Stop that said if you brought in 3 Select Games you got $59.99 towards Wii Active!!! I figured we probably wouldn't have any of the games on the list, but when Dave pulled up the list it was pretty long, and we did have 3 of the games!! So we went in and got the last one @ our Game Stop. We DID have to pay tax tho, which was $3.00!! Not bad at all!! We both have already used it and WOW!! Its a great work out! Im def. feeling it and i was def. sweating my butt off!!! I highly recommend it!!!

When Brae was 3 months old we decided we wanted to get him some sort of Jumper. We looked at the Rain Forest one and were actually planning to buy it [full price uhg $89ish]. Well Target and Walmart were out of stock so we went to Once Upon a Child [its a kids hand me down store if you dont have one around you]. They had a Jumperoo rite out in the front! $25! I was still kinda iffy about it, Cause Kait never liked anything like that when she was his age, but soon as we got him home he seemed to like it!! Well now he is almost 7 months old and LOVES the thing! We swear one day he is going to jump right out of it! But im so glad i didnt go buy the $89 jumper...this one is just as good!!

you NEEEEEED to train every single one of your team members the same exact way, with the same exact rules!!!! I was told the other day that you are absolutely not allowed to use a coupon that is of higher value than the item you are buying *LIE*... the truth to that is that they have to adjust the coupon, which i knew but i still verified by calling corp. The very nice lady i talked to on the phone said she would be calling to inform the store that, that is what you do w/coupons! Well we go back today and the lady at customer service told me the coupon wasnt working cause the coupon was worth more...i told her she needed to adjust the Q. She said "Oh Okay" and did it! So i pretty much told a person that works at the service desk what to do? what is wrong w/that picture? I absoloutley LOVE target but man come on is it really that hard to train everyone with the same information? I dont want to have to explain to every cashier how to use a coupon everytime i go... Sorry just n...

FINALLY!!! it has come down! for the longest time we couldnt get it under $97! We got this months bill yesterday and it was $79!! I was psyched! SHAWS* This week is our off week for grocery's, but i WILL go to Shaws to do the Hillshire Farm/coke deal! Dave always needs drinks for work, so this works! Buy 5/$12 12 packs get 2 Hillshire Farms Deli Meats 8oz or larger FREE! To make that deal even better i have 5 $1.00 Q's for coke 12 packs! So ill pay $7 for everything! SCORE! Dave will be ALL set with drinks for a while. **just wanted to throw this out there... i went to Old Navy yesterday looking for a shirt, i was looking in the clearance section and found a black overcoat that i will need for wedding season this fall/winter. This jacket was $5.00!!! The last clearance price was $20.00, but the original tag was missing...id love to know how much the jacket was to begin with!!
